The Foundations of Liberty: A Focus on Faith & Family

The origin of this quote is sometimes challenged, some claiming it was not written by De Tocqueville, or taken out of context. Regardless, its sentiments have been echoed for more than two centuries by observers of a nation whose very foundation is rooted in the fundamental belief in God and the supreme importance of the nuclear family. Those who now challenge both our genuine “goodness” and the source from which it comes need only be reminded of the words found in our Declaration of Independence:

“America is great because her people are good.”

A primary objective of Up With America is to reinforce & promote a return to America’s focus on Faith & Family based on our Judeo-Christian heritage as the surest means to salvaging a government & people that have gone astray.
