America is a nation of laws. Our Constitution is not a “living” document, but the framework for freedom for all who seek it. The proof lies in the fact that it has been amended so rarely since 1787, typically to correct an error of omission that denied individual liberty.
We believe that what is past is prologue; that without knowing and understanding from whence we came, we cannot “secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.” We believe that Divine Providence was instrumental in gathering together our founders to form “a more perfect Union.” We believe that the liberty endowed upon us by God and guaranteed by the Constitution is the only thing that separates us from tyranny.
